OK...Hi, my name is Irene and I'm a Pinterest addict. sigh. so now what? I started simply to create a library of inspirational ideas and folders for me to use with clients to show them what my ideas for their space could look like. And now...over 1,800,000 followers? Geezzzzzzzz, how did that happen? And what do I do with them? I'd like to know if there is a way to monetize it. I bought the url for the board that has the largest followers and am deciding what to do with it. In the meantime...any ideas?
Irene, well rock-n-roll. 30K pins, you weren't kidding! It looks like you gained a lot of follower recently (when they dropped the wait list) as most of your boards still hover around the 17K marker. I would make two recommendations: (1) consider becoming an affiliate of some of the products you are pinning anyhow and (b) make a brand wish-list. You've got some social sway, so see if you can use it to strike relationships with some of the people you are organically pinning anyhow. Networking is likely the best way to monetize your situation!
